Slow Cooked Pulled Pork (Crock-Pot)

This recipe is for those who don't have a grill or don't have the time to smoke the pork shoulder for 8+ hours outside. It's a very easy process that can be set up before you go to sleep at night and be ready by the time you get up the next morning. It's a great last minute addition to any party as well!

  • 7 pounds boneless pork shoulder
  • Salt and Pepper
  • (Your favorite seasoning for pork)
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock

  • Pour in chicken stock
  • Place generously seasoned pork shoulder into Crock-Pot fat side down
  • Cook on Low for 6 - 8 hours
  • Temperature reading should be at 195°F - 200°F depending on how you want the texture of the pulled pork to be
  • Take the pork out of the crock-pot and pull apart
  • The au jus can be used to make bbq sauce or to re-hydrate the pork should it get dried out in the reheating process for leftovers
